From Sesame Street Puppeteer, Matt Vogel, and his band The Mighty Weaklings, comes You Can’t Rock Sittin’ Down, a collection of upbeat songs the whole family will love! Originally featured on Jack’s Big Music Show on Noggin, The Mighty Weaklings proved kid’s music could appeal to adults too, with their catchy, guitar-powered song “Rocket Ship”.

The fourteen tracks on You Can’t Rock Sittin’ Down include “Rocket Ship” and other songs that will get you and your kid’s on your feet, playing air guitar and rockin’ with the Weaklings on songs including: “The Monster Under My Bed” (a song about friendship), “Grumpy Song” (featuring Jerry Nelson from Sesame Street and The Muppet Show), “Super Hero” (about a crime fighter who’s afraid of heights), “Bug Town” (an imagination song) and more! The CD is also peppered with humorous spoken word bits from the band. The songs on You Can’t Rock Sittin’ Down were produced by Matt Vogel except “Rocket Ship” and “Bug Town” produced by Emmy-Nominated Blue’s Clues composer, Mike Rubin.
